A Tale of Greed...

A Tale of Greed...

A Poem by Shauna Jacqueline Anderson

Material consumption.
A plague to the race.
A plague brought by a modern society.
A plague no one can escape.
Material consumption,
A plague to the death.

I often have the same thoughts about our Modern life style, I like how you point out the wrongs of a greedy society in such a few short lines, like being punched in the face with the truth.

Thankyou =]
The poem is direct and true. We live for the wrong things. In the end we will be thankful for friendship and family. Thank you for the excellent poem.
