Jog in the Sun

Jog in the Sun

A Poem by Cole Hayley
"

The final piece of "Poems

"
Jog in the Sun
Somewhere between a walk
And a run Is the body most composed
And undone
Caution and abandon parcelled
Into one
There is not much better than a
Jog in the sun

Author's Note

Cole Hayley
Although I never kept up with the whole "a poem a day", so far in October I've published 12 poems - which, oddly enough, is more than I've posted in all of 2016. This is also only the third time I've completed a series (Fuel&Pollen, 12345678 being the other two).

I really loved working on "Poems", the entire process was entirely different than any other series I've ever worked on.

Keep an eye out over the next few days, I'll be back sooner rather than later.

Thanks for reading, guys.

I agree. A jog on a sunny day. Extra motivation. Nice use of words my friend. Thank you for sharing your words and your thoughts.
