A Story by Cole O'Connor
"

This is a prose non-fiction short story that will have your mind thinking.

"
That moment when you become aware of what involuntarily makes your eyes glow; and discover what is subconsciously favorable in your thought process.

I surrounded myself with images; pages upon pages, complied fully. Each one I assessed shall bring back certain memories, thoughts, and sections of my mind. With each fragment found in my subconscious, they alter my morals and thought process. Every picture relating to my uniquely demented obscurities; as I guess some would call it. These demented pictures captured in my mind made a giddy smile appear upon my face, none like the rest.

Why must my fate rest in the ever-knowing unbarring attest of almost satanic rituals? I don't understand this attraction; or maybe even intoxication with these vile obsessions. I clench them so dearly before what beholds the most importance; yet so cautiously far from the front and center of my skull.

Nice piece. The poem hit deep on the subject of the mind. I enjoyed reading it. Although it didn't flow as easy in reading. It still had a nice overall impact on the whole poem.
