History Repeats

History Repeats

A Poem by Colette
"

that vicious cycle

"

I guess I needed U
to unglue the stitches
and get displaced like shards

again.

U had to come along
and tempt
and cajole

didn’t U?

So that I
could remain
sorrowful

always.

Scars
my neck
my chest
the surface of my flesh.

Poetry

repeating
time travel
backward

It’s how I stay young

I suppose.

DEEP, It was like you exhaled your feelings...on a lighter note, Father Time waits for no one...I say age gracefully with you inner child. ;)
