Baby In Blue

Baby In Blue

A Poem by Colin Kingsden

E n d l e s s l y  i n s p i r e d  b y  y o u :
You, whom I once thought
to be lost in the summer’s night,
in sun-showers and the fervor of ripening;

when I was young and unfettered
and could savor the gifts brought
unto me, delivering me from aimlessness
to a birth most cathartic - correcting.

You, whom I once consoled;
my hamartia, my all-for-not
and now never again, should I keep
steadfast to a path of unwavering.

Remembrance is born with the seasons;
Inspiration blossoms with age.

Wow. I clicked on your profile to read one poem and I've been stuck clicking on each one going down the line, some of them going back to read again. Each time I think I found my favorite you blow me away with a better one. You are an absolutely magnificent writer- you show deep thought and strong emotion, and you have very strong lines. You're a wonder. If I could go above 100 in my rating I would, unfortunately I can't, so I'll just give you the 100 even though it's not what you deserve.
