Empty Forever

Every action has no meaning,

Every word no definition.

The world has lost its luster

And becomes one great perdition.

I’m tired of observing this

So-called human condition,

But I can’t remake the world

Or even give minute revisions.

I’m a stranger to this world and a stranger to myself.

There is no recognition!

Our only real meaning is to spread our DNA into the next Generation to propagate the species. All other meaning is prescribed. Circumstance, society and family tries it's goddamnedest to prescribe meaning for us in the shape of codes. If we're lucky we'll manage to find our own meaning in life. No matter how inane it is.

What I get from writing, from bodybuilding, from my relationship with Lexus, from playing pool, from whatever is all assigned meaning. I decide what meaning those things have to me. Their meaning doesn't exist in the world outside my own head. I'm not saying assigned meaning is bad, far from it actually, it's just not Darwinian which is the only meaning assigned to us by evolution, the driving force behind all creation. that's all.
