Some one squeezed out the clouds

like a wash woman's towel

and suddenly

tears cling to the slick hot cheeks

of Peaches,

baby blue

like the hue of skies choking

back replies

when it's circulation has been cut off

and green,

yes green

is the color of leaves

that refuse to blush in fall,

the mornings

are the sound of your name

leaving my lips

when my eyes open,

repeatedly

like the nickname

that sticks out of my school girl

Bobbie shocks

quiet and shooting skyward

 like hissing balloons,

mind thief,

I love you...

the mystery never ends.

The last three lines do it for me on this piece. I clicked on you at least partially because of your name -- wondering why you were censored ... glad I did.

' Some one squeezed out the clouds ~ like a wash woman's towel ~ and suddenly tears cling to the slick hot cheeks .. ' Can anyone better the idea of falling rain as tears.. ?!

You write pictures and paintings, you do! Read this twice, have a smile on my face because it was like walking though an open-air art exhibition! So many great lines, so many glints of how you see the comings and goings of colour bright moments and love and.. love.

'quiet and shooting skyward

i loved that opening image, clouds can be so poetic, the rain our tears, brilliant concept. the images here fall thick and fast, a great ending as well, nicely abstract. fantastic.

geez, you are good...the line that lydi pointed out really struck me too...your imagery and personification are amazing..

love the mind thief idea...love and nature both mysteries...and who really wants to figure them out...better to just savor them.

love your poetry, Texas.

"Some one squeezed out the clouds like a wash woman's towel" Brilliant line! So descriptive! Unique and enchanting lines. May the mystery never end if it inspires this sort of poetry! Lydi**
