Morning After

Morning After

A Poem by CortneySays...
"

written from the male perspective.

"

The sunlight hit you just right this morning.

Started at the tip of your toes, caressed your thighs

And brought forth that beautiful smile that dances across the lips

I find so much pleasure in kissing.

Never thought I’d find myself here, find myself wanting this

More warm nights, wrapped in the arms of love given unconditionally

I don’t dare fight the urge to … interlock our fingers as I run my free hand

Through the locks of hair that frame the face of a goddess.

I feel God has given me the greatest gift in you

That is, until we say I do, and from our love comes a tiny baby, or two.

No, never thought I’d find myself here, wanting this…

And more.
