Crystalline Heart

Crystalline Heart

A Poem by Ebb and Flow

Scattered across the floor

lay the crystalline pieces

of my heart.

I dare not move,

I dare not speak,

I dare not break myself further.

The pain I feel can be

seen clearly in fragments and

light across the floor.

Telling a story that was

never meant to see

the light of day,

but there it is,

before me

my story

being cast upon the walls

on repeat

for me to watch

again and again

as the tears flow down

my face.
