That One...

That One...

A Poem by CJ

That One...

His eyes look my way,

Then quickly downward,

Afraid?

Not as much as I am.

To do something stupid,

In front of him,

Would be the worst.

Our eyes meet once more,

I fake a smile,

As I make my way to my next class.

He looks too,

But his expression is blank,

Also hurrying along,

On his own way.

Shall we speak?

I’m not quite sure.

For now,

We just barely notice,

That the other even exists.

what i meant by that is that they just pretend like they have no interest in each other, so the other wont know..

Interesting. You did a good job showing the awkwardness that often comes up between a boy and a girl. One part that I thought was rather contradictory is when, in the last stanza, you wrote that they were almost completely unaware that the other existed, but the others describe how they both have crushes on each other. That part confused me a little, but the overall rythm is great.
