God's Cradle

In God's Cradle,
I had to stay.
He would find me
parents right away.

An earthly home
He found for me.
Proud parents again
they would soon be.

God thought He'd say
just a short prayer,
Changed His mind when He
remembered I'd do things I dared.

He had looked into
my baby blue eyes
Said, "I'll never leave you,
I'm always by your side. "

In the angels arms,
I had been placed.
I would soon be able
to meet them face to face.
