Got Caught

Got Caught

A Poem by Country Girl47

Picked the cheapest
he could Ford,
Complained she was
to Chevy.

He began Wagon
then Scooter over,
began to Ryder,
turned on Rt. 69.

This time caught
by his Lincoln wife
Had to Dodge,
From being hit.

Knew he'd have
to Escape,
When she told
him to go Chevelle.

Thank you!
Wow, you know your cars. Interesting use of cars here; never thought about using them in my own poetry. Great use of imagery and structure. Ideas are very clear and its overall a great poem. Thanks for sharing this poem.
