Death of a Muse

Death of a Muse

A Poem by Courtney

Crunching leaves on which I walk
Coloured splendor gone
Wisping 'round the wind does talk
Disappearing dawn

Dead air where the life once stood;
Captivating muse
Once green leaves browned now as wood
Disorienting views

Walking through the woods alone
Shows true misery
Ugly nature does condone
Once appeared beauty

Life can in one second die
Green to brown; straightforward lie
