The Life of a Child

The Life of a Child

A Poem by Courtney
"

This is how I view the life of children.

"

To be but a child

In this world full of old

It's very discouraging

To feel very bold.

To never believe

To never have faith

A horrible mindset

For our human race.

I wish this to change

A new thought in it's place.

Children are brilliant

In their own seperate ways.

The life of a child can be oh so nice

But stop for a moment, and ask their advice.

I look at my daughter, who is six months old and i see the awe and wonder she has for things. Its all new to her, yet old to me. You are right, our society would be better off if we stop and look at things from a child perspective. To embrace the old as the new and allow it to flourish from withing our hearts. Another well penned write.
