Secrets

Precious like a pearl in a clam's shell.

Worth as much as gold in a treasure chest.

Mysterious like a another murder case.

Silent like the wind flowing through the trees.

Passed, like cars passing through the tunnels.

Imprisoned like a criminal behind bars.

Buried as deep as a time capsule, waiting to be dug up.

Set free like a wild bird in it's cage.

Don't speak, or the word will lose it's meaning.

Memories can fade, others stick around. The memories I remember the most is memories of when I kept deep, dark secrets. Secrets can grow and grow until they have a life of their own. I learned a lot time again not to have secrets.
While reading your poem I thought about those times and I thought how how this relates to me.

I'm thinking the first line is more like a secret when it is no longer a secret. Maybe you should put that as the last line.

A very good piece, all the lines are 100% relevant to the topic, I don't always see that, very good job. Very detailed too and smooth flowing, I like that a lot

This was beautiful, really. My favourite line was "Worth as much as gold in a treasure chest." I think though, it ends a bit suddenly, almost like the last line doesn't really conclude. So, I think if you end it with just the word 'secrets' or something, then it will give it that ending, and an impact. However, this was still very beautiful.
