Two things that are often said and used to slip away, very observant. Take care is the alternative negative to ill see you around, which is what is preferable to hear. I like this as it is kinda heart wrenching but it is absolutely something people can relate to. Nice work.

This is so accurate to how relationships (or most of them) seem to go:
abruptly and painfully.

"We'll no longer have to lie
We no longer have to pretend
to be friends"

I like those lines because it always happens! That person will say you can't be friends and they're gone...
Relationships are tough, but when the right one comes along, it's worth all the bad things.

short and to the point...it seems that is usually the way a relationship ends. after the fire and excitement of a new relationship winds down, sometimes the spark that started it goes as well. there is nothing left to say....

it's not that i am cynical about relationships for the most part, but sometimes no matter what we do, the end comes without us being aware of it. to me, this can apply to friendships as well.
