It's Valentine's Day Again
A day which everyone dreads
Some of us wish we were dead
if only it was New Years instead

It's Valentine's Day again
You forgot to put it in your calender
She wants you to marry her
Death is what you'll consider

It's Valentine's Day again
you wonder why you're still single
you don't know how to mingle
you're lost love you want to rekindle


It's Valentine's Day again
You're staring at your ex's Facebook page
You find out, she's engaged
Now you're becoming enraged


It's Valentine's Day Again
You hate seeing all these happy couples
It makes you feel troubled
You're pain has been doubled

It's Valentine's Day Again
thank God it's almost over
Now you got a hangover
sleep it off till you're sober

Definitely not everyone's favorite holiday. Even those of us who are married often feel that it's fake - with a wedding anniversary, Christmas and birthdays, why another day we have to spend money we could be using on our family? Ugh. Good poem.
