Life is
Not as though it should be.
Life is hard and heartbreaking.
For her, all the time.
And so it is
The never ending story,
Distress in all its glory,
Until the day she'll die.

For you
Brought her out of the shadows,
Saved her heart from being drowned,
And gave her a warming smile.

She couldn't take her eyes off of you.

No, she couldn't take her eyes off of you.

And life is
Not what you said it would be.
She'll forget the sun
That used to make her smile.
Life is
The wild fires,
Your broken desires,
The love that is now lost.

For you,
Had her fall head over heels with
And grow madly addicted to
The way you made her feel alive.

She couldn't take her eyes off of you.

She never said that she needs you.
But she never said that she wanted to
Bury it in the skies.

Sounds like reality was rather harsh to this person in some way. It's true that life is often not what we want it to be or what we expect it to be, and while that is unnerving in a way, it's also better that way, in my opinion. It keeps you from getting bored! Anyway, I definitely enjoyed reading this. Your writing is just better and better every time I read it, Cool Girl!

I did see one typo: "Burry" should be "Bury". Other than that, I've nothing to point out. Keep up the great work! :)
