The Wolves Howl

The Wolves Howl

A Poem by AdvisorGirl
"

I love wolves. They're my favorite animal. They are in a pack and the howls are...somehow enchanting. Hope you enjoy!

"

Aroooooo

The wolves howl in the darkened night.

Some of the voices are high and proud.

While others is low and meek.

They sing long and loud.

So all can hear.

Near or far.

You can hear the howls.

Arororooooo

They howl for praise.

To the moon they give thanks.

They howl to comfort.

For they have lost a friend.

But the real reason.

Is that they howl to sing their story.

A story of loss, love, war, and of sorrow.

They sing out their soul so the night can hear.

Their song is heard.

Now is time for rest.

For the wolves howl has been heard.

The use of sound is great (you have a knack for that), and these two lines in particular I thought were of brilliance: "they howl to sing their story. A story of loss, love, war, and of sorrow", bravo!
