Magic not an attribute of the Savior but a craft of Satan so I am confused as to the idea of the poem. It's the title and line Ascending thoughts that has me wondering is this going towards God or away from him? Please excuse my candor as I know it is something of a rarity among this site.

Wonderful acrostic of MAGIC.
It shares a lovely meaning of the very word 'magic'.

You are welcome :)
Lots going on in very short amount of time...
I like the word usage:

visions
thoughts
senses
spirit

and the ending...

Chills me!

you put just as much action on the other-side with the word usage:

Momentary
Ascending
Gripping
Invoking

Chills me!

Like an incantation...of sort if you say the word fast and recite it out loud...

This sounds like the poem's conception. Remarkably easy to comprehend yet still leaving this reader reeling :)

Thanks Shaquana.
There are some very powerful feelings in this piece. These can be felt during the making of some form of art, the captivation of Nature, or during a religious practice. All of these have some sort of magical feeling in them. Well done !

Thanks so much Ahena. I am glad you loved it.
Can this be depicted as the state of any artists before creating their masterpiece poem, painting, writing, sculpture, certain stages or time of some one when they produce most fabulous contribution to philosophy, poetry, or whatever art form, that is true magic, as they can not reproduce it another time, it definitely makes some to have chills, clever and keen write, enjoyed

You most welcome, like the word remarkable too
Invoking spirits can be found in voodooism or merely some Eastern religions with mystical forces... When it gives you the chills you know that ain't good. Invoking names and spirits is a powerful thing. A very good poem...:).................
