Because I Love You

I wrote this for someone I really love when I told them I didn't think I could like anyone else the way I like him, and his question was "Why is that?"

Because no can top you, 

you're a bag of chips an more. 

I don't believe I've really cared for someone the way I care for you.

I feel like i'm incomplete without you, 

like a puzzle with a missing piece. 

You've made my day every day since we've met, 

and I can't seem to get enough of it, 

you're like a drug. 

I don't want to give you up and I don't want to be without you. 

You've entered my bloodstream and I can't get you out of my mind, 

like a moth into the light. 

I want to see the world with you 

and I want to spend the greatest moments with you. 

You're like a shooting star, 

so beautiful and so bright, 

it makes me wish and hope for something better. 

Knowing that you are the better side of things. 

You somehow seem to be the light in the dark 

and you seem to hold me up when I feel i'll drown. 

You seem like the sun warming me up on a cold day, 

and I like it. 

I want to stay, and I don't want another. 

Because there isn't another.
