My Tear Drops

Story of a girl that has been left alone

I walked away that day,

never looking back,

With a light mist of rain,

Giving my teardrops a disguise,

I always knew you didn't love me,

Neither did my family,

Neither did my friends,

You discarded my love,

Left me walking with sore legs,

And with a broken heart,

I had nowhere left to turn,

 

The rain had started pouring,

I knew it was lonely as well,

Wanting someone to touch,

I guess I was the only one,

I though it would soon go away,

Just like all the others,

But it let me continue to cry under it,

Shielded me from any glance,

I now understood,

It would be the only one for me,

With open arms,

And light drops like tears,

It would protect me,

From any further harm
