My Poems

A Poem by christopher fox
"

This was written march 14th 2015, and is how I feel about my poetry.

"
Writing terrible things
The word choice
I choose
The worst calamity
As reading on
Booze
Maybe its how
I write--
Might explain
Many things
The demonstrative power
That memory never
Rings
Hinges towards truth
But falls very short
Tries to bridge the gap
But builds the shanty
Fort.
All alone with words
Never making the connection
The flow itself hurts
But I write
Never making a correction.

Strong thoughts in the poetry.
"The flow itself hurts
But I write
Never making a correction."
I believe we write what we feel. Most writing is free-flowing. I liked the above lines. Sometimes words come from hidden places. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
