The Last Lie

The Last Lie

A Poem by Shiningwolf
"

A girl lies to her parents about a party..only this is the last time she can lie.

"

I am going for a drive

I will not be late

Ignore your vibes

I will be safe.

Get in the car

And pull out the make-up bag

I am ready to travel far.

But first I must get a rag.

Time to look nice

Time to look cool.

Eyeliner is done.

And I don't look like a fool.

I feel really good

Out on the road '

Even though I'm not doing what I should

I'm in the party mode.

Reach the party and what do I see?

This party is a mess.

I try to run, but they catch me.

Now I'm in distress!

Why did I lie?

Why did I sneak?

I am going to die!

Now I can never speak.

This world is cold.

It is so true.

Be careful what you unfold.

Because now I am blue.

It was like a TV was playing in my head. Great job.

It seemed somewhat choppy but it was consistent.
