Monsters and Treats

Monsters and Treats

A Poem by Rose Hagerty
"

Tiny monsters roam the night.

"

Withered hands touch the sky

Bare of all fruit

Their ornaments gone

Crunching snaps underfoot

Night falls blanketing all in darkness

Tiny monster feet scurry

Hallowed lights flicker

Creatures of all shapes and sizes awaken

Each takes an offering to appease their voracious appetite

Fangs bared

Claws ready

They cackle in perfect harmony

TRICK OR TREAT!

Not sure why you have so many views and no comments
I've read a few from you this morning and enjoy what you are doing
It's a slightly different delivery than most
That is a good thing
Keep it up
