Betrayal?

I want this to be over
 to run away and hide
but you can't hurt me anymore
because I'm dead inside

it will all become bitter
 rot until I’m a shell
and you can’t hurt what isn’t there
I’m already in hell

I know there is no savior
 death is no solution
and no one can murder despair
there’s no resolution

you wouldn’t care it’s over
 you’ve made me bones and dust
but you’ve vindicated the hurt
with your last misplaced trust

Based on something that happened to me awhile ago, and I kind of wrote it by accident and then it built from there.

This is great!!!! I especially love the lines "and you can't hurt what isn't there/ I'm already in hell" I totally understand!!!!!!! This is honestly how I've felt about the conflicts I've had between me and my stepmother... but everything is better with that now... Anyway, I love it!!!!!!!!
