The Unsent Letter

The Unsent Letter

A Poem by James Morgan
"

More of a confessional really.

"
I know that before I've said that,
I hate the word but I'm sorry.

I'm sorry for the things I've done to you,
All the pain I've caused, I know this
Sounds cliche but I didn't mean it.

At the time I could not see, I
was blind and oblivious to everyone
around me.

And even when my eyes opened up just a little,
I still caused you pain, I swear I didn't mean
it.

But now my eyes are open and
now I can clearly see, but it's too late.
You've moved on. I just want you
to know that I love you and always
have, and I wish you could forgive me
but this will never be sent.
