Unbending

Unbending

A Poem by D. Connolly
"

New ideas are a good thing. They have the potential to help us do better at the next opportunity. Stagnancy is slow death.

"

Beware the reed that does not bend

You will break at the first strong wind

Or be torn from your shallow well

Left to wonder why you fell

thank-you so much for your visit today!!
You were wise to use nature's example to demonstrate this important life-lesson. Oaks are majestic and mighty, but are often felled by a strong wind.

Believe It Or Not Believe It Or Not
This is my first attempt at slam poetry, and I'm excited to film a performance of this piece over the coming day.
A pleasant read with a lot of truth in it. Valentine

Oh! This one when written somewhere while driving through forest can make an impact. People can interprete based on their own understanding and experience. To me I feel like one of those Chilling movie setup where suddenly everything gets kick starts after announcement of these lines.
