Macabre Barbra

Macabre Barbra

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL
"

As a Postie I got this idea for this poem when delivering post to a woman i never saw but i knew she lived in the house.

"
The creepy lady that nobody knew
Spent all her life in solitude
This little old spinster loved all things
That made a normal person cringe.

Macabre Barbra as she was known
Was the strangest lady with a stranger home
The locals thought she wasn't right
Her curtains closed in broad daylight.

Her home was packed with deadly creatures
Skeleton bones and grisly features
The village would empty you'd see no-one about
When Macabre Barbra ventured out

The people were scared of what they feared
Then one day Barbra disappeared
The village rejoiced and then found peace
They all assumed she was deceased.

All convinced she was a witch
But It's wrong to believe in silly myths
Macabre Barbra's still around
She's still in the house safe and sound.

Very wonderful and interesting write.
It's flow was wonderful and yes... a little spooky.
Words were brilliantly spun.
Great work!
