NoA Poem by PumkinThought of this poem while looking at news about North Korea and Donald Trump.NO We're told that being different is wrong Is that another way to say we cannot mentally grow? If we are different than we do not belong But no matter what, my answer will always be no We're taught that a certain shape is the best Please people, give me a rest I will not give into your demands and bow I love myself so my answer will always be no We're surrounded by people who shoot hateful glares Who are not happy with how you dress although This body is, was and never will be theirs This is my body so my answer will always be no We're trained to ignore the painful truth In fact for me, it was not a while ago And they teach that to us all when we are in our youth But I hate lies so my answer will always be no We're shaped into what they want Whether it's a perfect housewife or a masculine husband and so and so And then they are annoyed or disappointed when we say we can't But I wanna be me so my answer will always be no We're taught and told so many things But it's time to change Because to some, what you teach really stings And the truth is not strange It's just unique, special and different you know And that's why my answer has always been no By DEVILSANGEL7
