Young Love

Young Love

A Poem by Sarah Jane

Molly swore she didn't do it

Swore it till her face turned blue

But little did Molly know

Her mother knew the truth

Her mother laughed and laughed

Threw head back and gave a shout

But poor little molly didn't understand

And undoubtly began to pout

Molly's mother couldnt take it

So her father did his part

In explaining why Molly wasnt in trouble

For stealing that young boy's heart<3

This one made me smile. Out of the mouth of babes. The last line was unexpected which gives it a great payoff. Good poem M.
