Shine again

It was dark
It was cold
I was alone
Gazed to the sky for relief
Looking for a friend I miss
All I found was a bale moon
Hiding behind dust and clouds
the star!
wasn't there
not anymore
The shine is gone
All what it made me was more
undone
shine again my moon
let the star accompany you once more
please do
so soon

The heavens, the celestial beauty that sits above does constantly change, but if we give it time, once again what we seek, we are sure to find.

This poem created a desire and and sadness, yet peacefull in a way. I find great comfort in the moon. When I feel like my world is upside down, I just look for the moon and when I find it I know all will be right.

This is very nice Dalia and once again, it is written in a style I find so endearing and enchanting.

very nicely penned. the feelings of longing and missing that friend was mixed by the lonliness felt because of the absence, nothing can fill in that emptiness your friend has left, i love how you used the images and metaphors specially showing the friend as the moon...i love it
