Searching

Searching for love everyday of my life

I often settle for less causing much strife


The battle within between anger, hate and love

A constant terror that I want no part of


Anger and hate begin to fill the growing void

Angry at nothing becoming more paranoid


A basic instinct the need to feel love

Nothing will stop it even when push comes to shove


They say paranoia will most definitely destroy

But for me it's just a distraction here to annoy


So I continue to fight for what I speak of

Because life is beautiful especially with love.
