Storm

Storm

A Poem by Lydia Jamison

When I go to the sea,
The rolling waves of blue,
I find a part of me.
I find something true.

The sun once shown so brightly
Upon the sand and sky.
The scene has changed slightly,
So that the clouds cry.

The ocean rages loudly,
A screaming in my ear.
I place my memories soundly,
And just try not to hear.

Wow, there's an undertoe current of tension that runs through this and provoked me to re-read and think. Very interesting write. Great work.

Great rhyme scheme. I felt as if i were a sailor going out to the calm ocean and a strom comes about. Great write!
