Sometimes

Sometimes I pretend 
That when my world comes crashing down 
That I'll be standing 
That i will have landed 
with my feet on the ground 

I pretend that
When I feel lost 
I'll find the right road
To take
To get back on track

I pretend that 
When I lose all hope
That I will find the pieces 
And reassemble the life
I wish I had. 

I Pretend that in 
The end,
Nothing will have mattered
Since we all face
The same disaster.

I pretend , 
The allusion of a smile
Will turn itself 
Into the truth.

I pretend I'm okay 
When I'm barely breathing.
And when my hearts 
Barley beating.

But pretending 
Will make your fall
To reality 
Harder. 
More concrete that 
Your inspiring hopes
Were a mere 
Cold lie,
For you'll never 
get what you want in life.
Just remember one thing :
... For We All Have Life 
BUT Only Some Live.
