Mixture Of Emotions

What your smile meant to me is something I can't yet describe,

It's a mixture of emotions when I take the time to look deep inside.

I run to you in hopes that my heart you would shield, believing that in some strange way i'm able to be healed.

I ran towards you so it seems I really like this game

The game you play in sercet and slowly take it day by day.

You saw my broken heart and the emptiness my eyes reflect, shouldn't that have been a sign that i'd be something you'd regret?

You think you have my story all figured out and it probably would unsettle you to finally find out,

That it wasnt you i was seeking for, nor was it your love but simply that feeling that i'm finally good enough.

To be finally good enough. We judge ourselves unfit for happiness or love when we are broken, yet it should be those who broke us we give those thoughts too.
