Note from a broken heart

The fear of healing is greater then most.

we don't realize how addictive pain can be.

That feeling a broken heart gives you, those tears that  stream down your face are tears that will once again be craved.

Trying to explain that concept is hard when you can't even explain why you're so drawn to it.

You try to better yourself while wearing a blindfold to the situation.

You run into arms that will deepen that want even more.

Its unsettling to say that the feeling is something quite comforting.

Even more unsettling to say that without it you can't feel at all.

The path to healing seems to far along that it almost seems easier to suffer.

But if we only understood what that does to us.

The path to healing is one worth accepting because who knows where the other path will lead you.
