Goodnight Stars

Goodnight Stars

A Poem by dangerbooze
"

We already have a Goodnight Moon, why not a Goodnight Stars?

"
Beneath my pillow of flesh
I listen to a song worth hearing
within my soul it resonates
its melody so endearing

A candle initiates a smile
the scent of berries I adore
instinctively I hold you closer
I care for you all the more

Curling myself around you
Your quiet snores my lullaby
Dreams of mischief call to me
Thoughts take me far too high

Catch me when I fall?
Take my heart to treasure
To be with you for just a moment
Why, my dear, 'twas truly a pleasure.

This does seem much happier compared to the others. It's a interesting choice of words and lines in gernal. I like the last part the best, if I had to choose. All of the poem as a whole is amazing. I found myself not being able to read it just once. Which is a good thing because I don't often do that unless I truely enjoy a piece.

About
I'm a lazy writer. I write what I feel when I feel like it. But to be more specific, I have a constant case of writer's block about pretty much every thought that I can think of or even consider. .. more..
