A Poem by dangerbooze
"

So it seems that "home is where the heart is" happens to be quite valid with me.

"
I love to watch you play
Joy bursts from within my heart
The soft pitter-patter of paws on the floor
Makes me reluctant to depart

The same shampoo as mine
I've never found so alluring
A small insignificance we share
Yet I find it reassuring

Blankets formed from tenderness
An embrace created by laughter
Dizziness through playful circles
Memories filled with rapture.

I'm starting to love this one. I found the inspiration by listening to Glitter in the Air by Pink.

I know we just talked about this on FB, but the last stanza is awesome. Love the simple pleasure of this, the feeling behind it...I can definitely feel the mood you were trying to create, and it is an AWESOME, UNCOMPLICATED feeling that is more difficult to come by as one gets older and more cynical. I'm gonna keep this in my library for when I need to remember what REAL love and comfort is.

Only thing I can think of to criticize? I would have loved to read MORE. :)

I'm a lazy writer. I write what I feel when I feel like it. But to be more specific, I have a constant case of writer's block about pretty much every thought that I can think of or even consider. .. more..
