being passionate of writing

My Assignment:
They told me to write about my experience in this class.
How I felt, How I feel now.
How I was, How I am now.
Who I was, Who am I now.

And I guess I will have to answer those questions.
I felt lonely. Now, I am surrounded by people I didn't imagine to be around.
I was private. Now, I am an open book, when I am around my fellow colleagues..
I was a ghost, not knowing its place. Now, I am a writer, exploring the page.

I guess in this place I grew up.
I aged five years in three months.
I became more wise.
I became part of me.

They told me to write about,
How I felt, How I feel now.
How I was, How I am now.
Who I was, Who am I now.

So let me tell you.
I am fine.
I am okay.
I will be all right.

Time will pass,
but you will still find me in this class.
Okay?
Okay.

I took this one writing class for the fall semester. We are publishing a book together. At the end of the semester the instructor, asked us to write about our experience in this class, and this is what I came up with.

OHMALORD YOU'RE PUBLISHING A BOOK??? Wait, what do you mean by "we"? Like your class, or...?

Anyway the poem...maaaan I relating to your writing like no one's business! Right now I feel like that lost ghost right now. Essentially I'm between the lost and found part. And this gives me hope that when I finally get out of high school (and I graduate this year, whoo~!) I hope that I can become open and just do what I want with my life. Plus, I am growing so fast like the "aged five years in three months" thing! I'm dreading my senior year and I just want it over with, but the idea of what lies ahead in college keeps me motivated. And that is expressed in this poem~! Thanks so much for writing it~! :D

I like the concept and the way you have it structured, it has a sterile almost mechanical feel at the beginning the it warms with recovery and recognition on the surface while still hiding much of yourself. Very relatable topic and written in a masterful way. Bravo! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!
