Seashell

Seashell

A Poem by Daphnee
"

Who am I to you?

"
I was shiny and I was new
I thought I was your seashell
You carefully held me, even treasured me
I thought you'd keep me forever
But you looked forward and extended your arm
Before I knew it, I was launched away from you
You threw me far away and had no regrets
I thought I was your seashell
Turns out, I was just another skipping rock for you to use and throw

I know how this feels all too well, a beautiful poem (Like always ;) I always love how you can use things like seashells to represent yourself and Him as just the one who throws it away or one who ses how bad he can hurt you just to show off just like how one would show off by seeing how far you can skip a rock. another one hundred!
