Mutilated Barbie Dolls.

Mutilated Barbie Dolls.

A Poem by Stormy Weather
"

A poem of secrets.

"
The sickening memories haunt  you while your world is silent.
You cannot clean the oil off of  your skin.
They attack  your sanity daily; merciless and violent.
You don't have the strength to start over again.
Your tears burn like acid, and evaporate quickly.
You can't let them see you cry,
The pride you hold onto, in a manner so sickly,
Forces you to believe it's a lie.
Time cannot be reversed, actions cannot be undone.
You must accept your fate.
You thought you lost, but you have already won,
In the games the demons play.
The scene is gone, the touch is a mere haze.
You desperately want to recall.
A blank memory left, for the rest of your days;
A  painful puzzle you wish to solve.
Waste is better left in the junkyard,
Not meant to be taken home.
But,  living sanely is much too hard,
After the damage is done.
You wonder why life did this to you,
Why you had to victimized.
This statement, however, is quite far from true,
Even though  you were traumatized.
Praying for your pain and questions to disappear,
It's a long, draw-out war.
Yet, every day, every hour,  all you can hear,
Is your personal demon, screaming, "w***e."
You search for your niche, your place in this world,
A safe-haven is all you need.
But, alas,  there's nowhere for a ruined girl,
Who was stolen from innocence out of greed.
