Where are you, Joe?

Where are you, Joe?

A Poem by Stormy Weather
"

A story told from the perspective of the product.

"
Hey Mr.,
Did you love her at all?
Did she mean the world to you?
I know she loved you, with all her heart.
         She told me.
Would you have married her?
I can imagine how beautiful she would've
Looked in a wedding dress.
A fairytale waiting to unravel.
Buddy,
How would you have reacted to the news?
Did you want any more kids?
You already had two sons, could you take another?
        Would you be happy?
Would you have stayed by her side,
While she carried your child?
A women caught in a web,
Not ready to be alone.
Joe,
   Did you go to heaven?
Or did the angels drop you into fire?
When the car hit, did you see your entire life unfold?
Please, please, tell me you had some remorse.
So unaware that she was carrying your baby.
Was it fate that you were never to find out
That she gave birth to a baby girl?
Daddy,
Would you have stuck around and watched me grow?
    Would you have liked me?
Momma says I have your eyes,
So, whenever I want to meet you,
I look in the mirror.
Would it have been okay that I'm a girl?
If you were here, would you be proud of me?
Daddy, would you have loved me?

I believe he would of loved you. I have three daughters. Each one is my pride and joy. I went to my friends daughter (who was killed in Iraq in 2004) graduation last year. I told his two girls. Their daddy would be proud of them. Love is never forgotten. A strong poem with good questions. We learn real love when we hold our babies for the first time. Than you for the outstanding poem.
