reflected

every day i look into the mirror

i dont know what i see

is it simply a reflection

or is it really me

 

what am i deep inside

am i kind or harsh or cruel

am i really what i see here

am i just a simple tool

 

i dont know who i am

im lost deep down inside

my life seems to have no purpose

my world seem to collide

 

everything is broken

the is no joy or truth or joy

i never can create

i only can destroy

 

i have killed off all my happiness

nothing more remains

i cast away those close to me

im held down by my chains

 

every day i look into the mirror

i dont know what i see

is it simply a reflection

or is it really me

I really enjoyed this piece, it cuts right to the soul--right to the basic emptiness of the human condition. Good work. I think you should edit the first line of the second quatrain "what im i deep inside." I'm not sure exactly what you meant here, but I feel that something such as "what i am deep inside" would fit much better.
