Totally Madness and Love

Totally Madness and Love

A Poem by Reaper

Sicken Satanic Reaper

Ready for a soul

Cloudy storm of fear gather

Love and light there to stop me

I was anchored to empty ship of my making

Hell chain binded my skin and bones

Burning my core

I was way past my breaking point

Scared, raw, and ready to implode

Tattooed curse of love

Love that is dead or gone

I stick the emotional gun

Into my dry mouth

My finger lingered on the trigger

That extra moment of hesitation

You found me

You psychological beat some sense into me

You pulled me from the ledge

I felt I needed to taste that sweet cement

Live in that dirty grave

You felt I could love and live again

And somehow you were right

Little did we know my redemption would be found in you

You let me in

I played with your dark

And stayed for the light

I love you

You are my everything

Perfect to my eyes

All I do is wait

Wait to start forever

With you

This weeps blood and fright, pain and darkness. Enticingly begging for the death so ready. To quit feeling and living with pain where love should be. The darkness is like a shadow, like it could clutch your throat. ANd the pain is so strong inside of your words, so strong it could kill. Your mind is one of turmoil and so is the darkness enslaving the soul inside. But the heart you've let light up inside of this poem. Inside of your words. You cans ee the love, the anguish for that love. And the patience enough to find the time to say yes, I want you.You let me in

"I played with your dark

And stayed for the light"

That is my favorite line. It is so beautiful. To express how the depth of someone's soul is, and show the parts that let you yourself live. You packed a punch in that simple line. One that tells a story, so crazy and wild and beautiufl where evil found no time to prevail but your heart and the other person's conquered the sky, conquered the demons, conquered the world. And in that, found love so deep and wise and beautiful. I love this poem. Needless to say it is right spot on and beautiful.

Well done.

Beautiful!
I love your imagery and choice of words, how you capture the essence of infinite sadness and slowly killing despair.
Your take on last-minute rescue shows it isn't merely something for cliché movies. Wonderfully written.

I love the feeling of being lost in this.
I like the sadness at the beginning, then in comes a trust factor, I love that.
There is a sense of hope left lingering in the end.
Very well written.
