Kaela

Kaela

A Poem by Dark Tower

Kaela

God was cruel

To place us so far apart

But even from across he seas

You still touch my heart.

I close my eyes

so I can see

a world where its just you and me

and suddenly everything seems to be

so much better

I stretch out my hand

Towards the stars

And hope that you can feel my hand brushing away your tears

Even though I’m a thousand miles away

If you really needed me

I’d spread my wings and be there for you today

Your starlit eyes gaze at me through the screen

Two mesmerising beacons of hope warming me

I find myself with no choice but to face the truth

The truth is quiet simply:

Kaela

I

Love

You

I enjoyed this poem. Honest and strong statements open up the poem and I like the desire of real love at the end. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

Thank you Coyote, this poem is a direct description of how I feel for her.
That is very beautiful, Bee. If only everyone could feel loved like that.
