Writer's block.

Writer's block.

A Poem by Rev. Fr, S. D. Blankenship DDiv., PhD., MA.
"

This is for anyone who has writer's block, and feels they are alone.

"

Wrong, wrong, wrong every word made to

Resemble my thoughts and dreams, but even

I can see it needs to be better! I see the

Theme and the plot. I hear the words and

Emphasize the scene again. Rewriting my

Run-though, over and over again. Every

Slur is wrong. I grab my pen and scream

Bogus! My nerves are stoned, my eyes are

Leery. My mind is lost in train of thought

Obstacle. I see it all so plain in my mind

Consecutive. Every thing I see I hope to

Keen my wit, so I can just write my block.

XD wow! This is so spot on! I get the same feeling when I want to draw something- then remember that I don't know how to draw. u.u But it's worse with writing, because we know we CAN write... our hands just aren't cooperating. And then, when you're mentally reorganizing your thoughts you get lost in the confusion and it's all chaos from there.
I can so see this happening, like in a movie.
Great job!

Thank you. :)
I would say we all have suffered from a spell of writers block, and it can break a guy. Well done

As promised, review not on the story entered. I hate it when I have no ideas. It's so much worse when you have a great story but then you don't know where to take it and get so stuck for weeks!! I think all writers can relate to this :)
I just carry on writing - regardless of what I think. I did have a whole book length story written out and I just kept re-editing it. Everytime I fixed one another came along! You write about a lot of pain. I tried reading that other story on that girl in bed and her hymen was broken. I'm quite curious to see if you could write something happy too.

It made me laugh more than anything, mainly because I always feel like throwing my pen at the wall and just feeling satisfied that it exploded with ink. That's kinda the main thing I imagined here. Nice job, even for someone who has writers block

Ah, the fine and fickle frustrations that come with writer's block. Terrible affliction, sweet poem. :)
