Cheater, cheater-- they think you're getting sweeter!

Cheater, cheater-- they think you're getting sweeter!

A Poem by Rev. Fr, S. D. Blankenship DDiv., PhD., MA.

Cheater, cheater. They think you’re getting sweeter.
When you kiss someone, remember the glare in my eyes.
Remember of me you miss when you talk to other guys.

Short and to the point. I think that people should have to introduce themselves to someone new with references from their past relationships. I have had happy break-ups, for the most part, so they have often met each other. I have no lies and secrets, obviously. LOL! I don't understand cheating. If you are done with someone, then move on.

A great write; however, I wonder whether the type of person who cheats has enough conscience to feel any remorse for what they have done. I had one bad separation and it was with a cheater.

This is true for a lot of people...I like it :) But who is they? We are missing the context, who are the subjects of the poem and who or what is the outcome? Good job.

You can't be more frank than that. I love the title...the rest says it all. It reminds me of liar liar pants on fire.

Short but oh so powerful, even though I am technically with the guy I like-- I think of the pain he would feel if I did cheat on him. Great poem too!
