Childhood Friends

Childhood Friends

A Poem by Satoshi IroTzu

Memories carry the days of our bond.
Broken homes, broken families.
Brothers and sisters to look after or listen.
But there was always joy in fun and games.
All the misfits. All the secrets.
Smiles and laughs, it was all heartfelt.

Days flew by, and the future we face.
Weed. Booze. It all slipped through your hands.
Still the hearts we had as children
have not faded even though parts of you have jaded.

I wish from the depth of my soul.
To see you reach the stars.
To see you satisfied so you can glow.
Until the end of time.
