No Name

No Name

A Poem by DaughterNature
"

In honor of all victims of natural disasters.

"

I am the body

Nobody claimed.

I am six feet under

With a grave not named.

Smelling of fish and

Bloated with brine;

The rescuers didn’t come

Nearly in time.

They put me here in this dark little cave

Where none would enter,

Not even the brave.

Those like me are all here, too.

With our corpses no one knew what to do.

So they put us in plots

In the grassiest place.

Above sea level at last "

Now I am at peace.

I like this a lot it ives off the creepy vibe of you know dead bodies but without over doing it with profanity like the others I have read :) great job
